About The Founder

Mr. Zainul Abedin Jawad

was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. He received his Masters degree from Karachi University and went to University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) in pursuit of PhD in Physics. Due to sad demise of his father (Late) Mr. M.A. Jawad, he was unable to finish his PhD and returned home to support his family and family business. In 1988 Mr. Abedin parted ways with his family business and went on to establishing “Associated Home Textiles (Pvt.) Limited”, remaining its Managing Director till his sad demise in March 2008.

During his 35 year long entrepreneurial career, Mr. Abedin travelled extensively across all continents. He was an active member of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Pakistan Ready Made Garments Manufacturers & Exporter Association (PRGMEA), Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) and other relevant trade associations in Pakistan.  He religiously attended trade delegations and fairs internationally in collaboration with Trade Development Association of Pakistan (TDAP) – formerly the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).

He took active interest in various academic business sessions in business schools across Pakistan to keep himself abreast with the latest market trends. Besides the business, Mr. Abedin participated in multiple humanitarian causes and took active part in promoting peaceful dialogues across the globe. He was a great advocate of inter-faith harmony, attended many conferences and met with prominent personalities.

Mr. Abedin took special interest in developing special apparel and linen for the international markets. This website is a special tribute to his vision to provide comfortable, affordable and trendy readymade apparel and institutional linen to his global customers according to the best international quality standards.
